• Managing staff to produce a daily newspaper and online news service. At Metro News Ottawa (sadly shuttered in 2017) I led a small team of reporters  who were able to really punch above their weight in Canada’s capital. Think the Rat Patrol or The New Avengers, only for reporting.

• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office, social media software.

• Reading and interpreting technical documents, quarterly corporate earnings reports, Bank of Canada policy statements and reports from Statistics Canada.

• Working under pressure to deliver writing on time to tight deadlines
