These are some things I’m pretty good at:

• Writing for print, broadcast, web and mobile.

• Managing staff to produce a daily newspaper and online news service. At the former Metro News Ottawa I led a small team of news ninjas who were able to really punch above their weight in Canada’s capital. Think the Rat Patrol or The New Avengers, only for reporting.

• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office, social media software.

• Reading and interpreting technical documents, quarterly corporate earnings reports, Bank of Canada policy statements and reports from Statistics Canada.

• Working under pressure to deliver writing on time to tight deadlines.

• Research, investigation and interviewing.

• Court sketching, 35 mm photography, video editing and videography.
